Hello!
I'm an illustrator.
My books include Ang Maliit na Kalabaw (6th National Children’s Book Awards Best Reads), The Secret is in the Soil (2nd National Children’s Book Awards Best Reads), But That Won't Wake Me Up (2012 Filipino Reader's Choice Awards), and the ever-popular Chenelyn, Chenelyn!.
I have also written two of my picture books, Hiya (2023) and Sungit (2020).
I have mentored illustrators from different countries through Room to Read, an international nonprofit organization.
I am a long-time member and past president of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang INK), the Philippines' first and only organization of illustrators for children.
I'm also a designer.
I am a partner at Studio Dialogo, a boutique design and illustration studio in Manila, Philippines.
I art directed and designed Karapat Dapat (2018), which was included in The White Ravens list for 2020, a selection by the International Youth Library of notable children’s books around the world.
